Discord and Dart overview
Dart works with Discord via our nifty integration. Get updates and notifications directly in your Discord server to stay on top of things.
What is Discord?
Discord is a free voice, video, and text chat application designed initially for gamers, but it has since expanded its reach to a wide variety of communities and groups. It was launched in 2015 and has become popular among users looking for a way to communicate and collaborate online. Discord allows users to create servers (essentially private or public community spaces) and channels within those servers dedicated to different topics or activities. At Dart we even have our own Discord server which you should join!
Dart Discord integration setup
To set up the integration first go the Discord integration page in settings and click the toggle to enable the integration. Then, in Discord, find 'Server Settings' → 'Integrations' → 'Webhooks'. Create a new webhook, set the name to 'Dart', and choose the channel it should post to. Then click 'Copy Webhook URL', paste the result in Dart's Discord integration page, and save.
