Outlook and Dart overview
Use Dart alongside Outlook to update your emails and calendar with relevant document and task information from Dart. This integration will enable you to stay organized and efficient with your project management needs.
What is Outlook?
Outlook, often referred to as Microsoft Outlook, is a personal information manager from Microsoft, available as a part of the Microsoft Office suite. Though primarily an email application, Outlook also includes a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note-taking, journal, and web browsing.
It can be used as a stand-alone application for solo use cases, or with multiple users in an organization, such as via shared mailboxes and calendars. Microsoft has also released mobile applications for most mobile platforms, including iOS and Android. In addition, a web-based version of Outlook is offered as part of Office 365 and Outlook.com, which is a free email service for personal use.
Dart Outlook integration setup
Keep track of your Dart tasks without switching tools. By integrating with Outlook Calendar, any task assigned to you with a due date will automatically appear in your calendar, helping you manage deadlines alongside your meetings and events. The sync is read-only and updates automatically, so your calendar stays current without extra effort. It’s a simple way to stay organized and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
To connect, copy your unique .ics link from the Calendar Integration section in Dart settings. Then, in Outlook, go to Add Calendar > Subscribe from Web, paste the link, and click Import.
